| IN MEMORIAM - JOANNA S. SALMEN (May 12, 1960 - January 3, 2010)
Madison Hospitality would like to pay a special tribute to our dear friend, business partner, and mentor, Joanna Salmen. Joanna was truly an inspiration to us all. Her passion and dedication to the hospitality industry was second to none.
In her 25 years in the hospitality industry, Joanna founded, pioneered, and led several hotel and corporate housing companies. Her influence and contributions to companies, both large and small, are immeasurable.
But more important than her professional accomplishments, Joanna's legacy to those of us who knew her will be that of a great friend with a loving spirit, caring soul, and an incredible thirst to live life to its fullest. She inspired many young men and women to live their dreams without compromise. Joanna often would say, "When life deals you lemons, make lemonade." Joanna will be missed by all but certainly forgotten by none.
